The sponsor of the 2nd edition 2021 of the Wobélé Festival of Tafiré, the Minister of Mines, Petroleum and Energy, Thomas Camara, underlined that through this cultural, artistic and sporting event, the region of Hambol (Katiola ) marks its rebirth.

"The Wobélé Festival of Tafiré is the symbol of Hambol which is changing in all sectors thanks to the actions of President Alassane Ouattara and his government team led by Prime Minister Patrick Achi", said Mr. Camara, also deputy and mayor. of Katiola, Friday August 27, 2021 in the presence of executives from the region and the populations.

"This festival is an opportunity for fraternal reunions and cultural exchanges but also an event intended to enhance and promote the culture of the Tagbana people", explained the mayor of Tafiré, Charles Sanga.

On the menu of the Wobélé Festival, musical performances, traditional dances, artistic exhibitions, sports activities, storytelling competitions and culinary competitions.

The 2nd edition of the Wobélé Festival of Tafiré, which started on August 26, 2021, is scheduled to end on Sunday August 29, 2021.
