The Wobélé Festival of Tafiré for fraternal reunions
One of the initiators of the Wobélé Festival of Tafiré, Ousmane Coulibaly, native executive of the locality, declared that this cultural and sporting project is initiated to promote fraternity, friendship and socio-cultural mixing.
According to M. Coulibaly, this festival is intended to “break with the usual reunions which are done for the majority during funerals.
“It is an opportunity for sharing, discovery and cultural exchange, for fraternal communion not only between the Tagbana and other peoples from here and elsewhere, but also a boon of fraternal reunions, a moment of joy, of happiness and sharing of memories for the sons and daughters of Tafiré, Badikaha and Niédiékaha, in addition to the enhancement of our cultural identity”, he said.
The 2nd edition of the Wobélé Festival of Tafiré runs from August 26 to 29, 2021. It will be marked by performances by artists, the traditional dance competition, the culinary competition with the preparation of typical Tagbana dishes and exhibitions of all kinds as well as sporting events, namely mobcross and maracana.
